Tigers (Galesville) and Little Dragons (YMCA) 4-6 year old children with an interest in martial arts. The focus will be on having fun while learning basic martial arts techniques. It will incorporate activities and will work on increasing the childs concentration. Beginners children ages 4-6 who have taken Tigers for at least 3 months or 2 sessions of Little Dragons at the YMCA. It is the beginning for those who want to learn martial arts for ages 7 to adult. It will incorporate the knowledge needed to test for yellow stripe: basics, ground work, one-steps (simulated punch and counter) and forms. Higher ranks may attend to assist with the lower ranks. Advanced generally for yellow belt and above or older youth. Those of lower rank may attend if they are able to focus for the extended period. Judo Galesville only learn the throwing and jujitsu associated with judo. Tai Chi Galesville only learn to relax and gain inner peace, with the slow movements, yet strength- building techniques. It has also been shown to provide health benefits and reduce incidences of illness. |
